While creating fantasies you do have this point in the beginning where you are lost in the core understanding about yourself although that might not be the only problem. The sole motive of 'this point' is pivot to guiding around the path that will make the imagined possible physically presentable. It can be any means of visual, sense and sound form.   

But that's the whole meaning of the dilemma is the starter like stamina build up basic trainings athletes or professional of any kind train before doing the the main thing because it's essentially backbone. Hence the repetitive mistakes, research and self reflections is of absolute importance. Because as we have started in this process of filling up the void space with color and light of our own. Filling up it as rendering in blender where everything is modifiable are creatable. All the resources are on our free usable disposition. It is although undeniably tedious but fruitful task because you're making something that's not there, and once you create it'll be living out as you directed it to and the end result will we equal output of quality of input and processing you put on effort you put on it.  

While creating it you can take advantages of flexibility of the initial void it offers as it having no rigid shape to it's own.   

By channeling basic plots you have in mind making use of some basic human emotion or stages that will be empathetic or relatable will draw people into your work. When you are empathetic to some thing it's basic human behavior to start overlooking the downside of other loopholes that might've been disappointing or unacceptable in other scenarios. It's known how hundred goodly written words go down drain compared to a random but meaningful bit of word that clicks a just right clique for an individual.   So by this we see how endless possibilities in the elasticity in fantasy modification. Also how we can modulate how people feel by what we created by directing people to that state by getting them to know the prologue of scene. Also providing third person viewer with the thoughts which will slowly grow on them to be the essential reasons subconsciously as there own, due to which we create some kind of inescapable maze that loops round to no cliffhanger but authors solid disposition whatsoever.   

I somehow believe strongly that although we all feel and see disjoint world being different individuals. But when we tell stories or talk about something with strong reasoning that is bit amusing and closer to them on some taglines related to them or mainstream trend. And if somehow if they are made to believe that what is show them is believe by some character created by us. Although not consciously but subconsciously he'll have development of trust because he empathize with the belief of someone who believes it.
